First Training Climb (hike actually)

Altitude will kick you butt if you are not used to it.  I currently live about 100 feet above sea level.  Hiking up to about 7000 feet in an hour really proved to me that I need to get up in elevation more.  Make sure to really work on your cardio and keep an eye on how much you are sweating.  Drink lots of water.

But the goal was Silcox Hut and we made it!  It was a beautiful day up at Timberline Lodge, and Nate and I had more fun than I can remember, but it was exhausting.

Headed back up again soon, Goal is to make it to the top of the Palmer Glacier ski lift.
